Definitely want to replace the ugly steel wheels. Maybe get Quadratec Moab copies, but I've recently seen another wheel that I've started researching.
Tires will be Cooper Discoverer AT3s. I'm wanting the them in 225/70R16, but it seems that size might be too big to fit in the spare well. My Astro currently has those tires on 7" wide rims, so at some point we'll see if one of my wheels will fit.
We always set our vehicles up with full size matching spares and include them in tire rotations. We do this because we both love long road trips that take us off the beaten path and have had a full size spare allow the trip to continue as planned and repair/replace the damaged tire at a more convenient time.
Currently it looks like we'll be going with the factory skid plates and RRO Supersliders for underbody protection.
Was looking at the TAG bumpers, but their reputation for delivering product isn't to great right now. I was hoping to get them, thus giving the Jeep a 2" hitch receiver, front and rear recovery points, and a rear spare mount. Now it looks like we'll have to get a Curt or Hidden Hitch receiver and the factory tow hooks.
I have an idea for a mild lift, but I'll go into that later.
