I just ordered the new 2016 Patriot 75th Anniversary addition, and I'm trying to get things ordered before it arrives in 2 weeks. I live in Central Oregon and will spend my time in the Cascade and Blue mountains for fun. I have ordered the 2 1/8" lift from Rocky, but I was just wondering if there are any must haves before it arrives.

Oregon country

I'm jealous! I just put that lift on my Pat also and I'm here in Oregon as well, works great for clearance. Congrats on the new Jeep!

Good tires, yes, BFG KO2's are available in sizes that will fit, probably P225/65R17 would be best. RRO Supersliders are also a good option, as are tow hooks if you don't have them, and steel skid plates for the undercarriage. If you have FD2 offroad package, you already have skid plates and tow hooks, otherwise probably not. Good idea to get some.

Thanks for the feedback.

I agree with the tires. My plan is to take it in as soon as the lift is installed and get a more aggressive tire. I've been reading the posts about roof racks, and the Patriot is a replacement for my Xterra. I'm thinking about finding a used rack xterra and modifying it to fit so I could have something a bit more heavy duty. I still have the Xterra so I will be able to mock it up before I go all in.

I will post pictures as I go. I also have a Kenwood nav system to replace the 430 with backup camera system. Nav is not offered for the 75th model.

Yeah, looked up build and price, looks like 75th Anniversary isn't available without power everything and that accursed 6-spd. Keep in mind though, despite all that it'll be worth alot more than most Patriots in ten years if it has few/no modifications, extremely low miles, and minimal/nonexistent rust.

Nice!
If you're interested in having the Xterra roof rack on your Jeep check out the FB group 'Jeep Patriot Around the World', there's a guy that installed one on his Jeep and it looks great!! Not sure if he's here on the forum.

Welcome craig. Look at the hankook dynapro atms. They are in a 235/65/17 and are also much lighter than the BFGs mentioned so they don't slow your acceleration down. Also, be thankful you have that "accursed" 6sp. transmission. As an owner of both, the 6sp is miles ahead of the CVT in every way. Congrats on the 75th. What color did you get?

That roof rack is nice man. It looks way lower profile than the Thule or Yakima. Where did you purchase it?

Jeep looks awesome!
I have the same roof basket,I love it! So low profile!
Whats on the side of your Jeep, or is it a reflection of something?
