AAARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!! Only 9days old and Neighborhood kids (possibly mine) put a 3in. by 1/2in scratch on rear fender!! It goes down to primer. I bought touch-up paint but was wondering what's the best way to prepare area before applying paint?

GERRR I now have a scratch on my door. Let me know how it works out for you. My spot looks like someone walked by and hit the car with a key or something about an inch and a half total but most of it can be buffed. One small half a cent long is down to the primer. I wanna try to touchup paint but have never used any like that before. I got tons of scratches on my old wranglers from going off road twigs and branches and I just had them totaly repainted. I knew a guy who owned a body shop so it didnt cost me that much to have it done. Is it brush on or the pen?

Thanks Hydronaut, unfortunatly I've alredy bought the paint from the dealer. But if I get globs I'll try the glob remover.

AmyK52 It's actually both. There's a small "retainer" inside the bottle when you unscew it which the brush slides through. Remove it and the paint will flow to the pen in top part of cap. I thought this was pretty neat when the parts woman showed me how it worked.
