special

2009 Patriot Sport
MSRP $18,270
DDD $5276
Sale Price $12994
Over 40 available
dont know what the DDD is, military discount?
18K sounds about right for base pat,
dealer might have 1 low balled pat to advertise to lure people in,
which is almost never available if you want it at that price.

I read a lot of stuff I get on google jeep alerts, about dealers who have lost their MOPAR franchise being really pissed off & nearly giving products away just to get money in the Bank & give Chrysler the Finger!!

I paid 18.5k for a fully loaded FDII so I don't doubt that for a minute. 13k may sound a bit low, but for a completly base pat, 17.5k is the MSRP (pre that destination charge BS)

Consider dealer margins and such and 12.9k is low, but not completely unreal. I bet they only have one at that price, and it may even be a demo (a few hundred miles on it)

One could always CALL "Dallas Dodge" and see 'what's the deal', right? We do still use phones as a way to communicate other than the internet.

My guess is that it could very well be true, but you won't know for sure unless you CALL or STOP IN!

I looked at the advertised vehicle at Dallas Dodge and I think the price is legit; they were advertising this in the Dallas paper and on their giant electronic billboard. These are 'red dot' (invoiced before Oct 1) base 2.0s with the CVT, MSRP 18,270. There was a dealer add-on sticker ($995 for window tint, pinstripe, nitrogen in tires, etc ... maybe worth $250) don't know if they would try to hit you for that add on.

Another dealer in this area had an newspaper ad for $11,990 on a MSRP 18,470 base with 2.4 and CVT but they also had a similar $995 dealer add-on sticker.

There are many Pats in stock in the DFW area, well over half are base 'D' packages. The dealer with the $11990 ad showed 52 Pats in their on-line inventory!

Me personally I would never buy a SUV that was not 4X4.I got a good deal on mine was 12,000 even, had 19,000 miles on it.Pretty much has everything but it's not a FD2.I wish I knew there was a trail rated version, but oh well I got a good price. This is my first SUV and 4wheel drive vehicle

my local dealer has 32 Jeep Patriots in stock and they are advertising that they have over half a dozen base stock models which are selling for $14,995. i'm sure you can get that even lower too.

that sounds like a pretty good deal for anyone just interested in a 4x2 base model. :smiley_thumbs_up:
