Looks good. Did you purchase the crossbars and cargo box directly from thule. I'm thinking of eventually picking somethink like this up for the wife's Pat for those overnight trips were we need some extra cargo space.

I got the crossbars, clamps, locks and fairing all from REI. They had an anniversary sale at 20%off.
You would not believe how much that Thule Excursion box can hold. I once bought a table saw at Lowes and it went in easily. Only weighs about 25 lbs.
I bought the cargo box back in 2003 from Trailblazers in Lexington on clearance. Mounted it on a 2003 Protege5 right in the parking lot and took it home.

I would get the fairing too unless you can stand a constant whistling over 30 mph.

Very nice....your Pat is like the 'Swiss Knife' of suv's. I like the fairing too....it also helps (however little) w/gas mileage too I'm sure. :smiley_thumbs_up:

Seems like the fairing does help with the gas mileage. I put it on and I have not noticed a drop at all in mpg.
I have also noticed the back window stays much cleaner when it is raining with the fairing on.

I think you got that right! Not much difference really with just the rails and the fairing but that cargo box has to be a big hit to the mpg for sure.
When I had this same box on the Protege5 it made the mpg drop from 26 to about 23-24 mpg.
