the special stuff is my Right Wing Nut Job stickers, but hey(!) - this Patriot has the custom Hushpower muffler system, Jeep Off Road lights and Super Sliders (Photo Bucket needs to cooperate here).

and Anthony the hunting, shooting, fishing Patriot owner himself - this was after shooting near Skykomish and checking out a side road on the way home (switchback road was actually on the Navigon 5100 Max screen). The end of the road was closed due to a snow slide.

Congrats!! Nice looking Patriot....I love the front lights, muffler & proper in-channel wind deflectors.....Looks like that machine could go anywhere!!

i noticed that your rear tow hook is missing...did you have to remove it to put the muffler mod on?
Yes I did, but for the trailer hitch actually (like for most trailer hitches), and I never could find a way to cover up the rectangular hole that's left - and you can see the shorty antenna and even the Buckmark air freshener.

There were some threads about the exhaust work like a year ago in the other forum - and I might not exactly remember the precise costs (but reasonable). And really it sounds cool (not like a small backfiring puttering Honda). It even sounds good when you start it up because it sounds like a humming/droning sound (can't describe it). :smiley_thumbs_up:

and the small Yakima basketcase roof basket was left over from my previous Jeep Liberty (and is supposed to be kinda low (wind) profile).

clean car, great add ons...really completes the car. never liked the 2 tone of the limited though.

Front Lamps......:smiley_thumbs_up:

Mini Roof Basket........:icon_rolleyes:

"Palin 2012" decal........

You might be right about the tiny roof basket it looks kinda goofy but it certainly seems to not affect fuel mileage negatively - anyway I hardly ever use it, but should more.

Palin 2012 - well she got hammered by the Commies/Socialists media people but my gal will come back (someone actually honked at me recently in Seattle and the reason was their truck also had Palin and Rossi stickers like mine).

OMG a deer just walked over my Jeep (and maybe slept in the roof basket) - I can see deer foot prints.

jp-ajdayt, very nice exhaust! Care to share where you got the Hushpower & who did the install? Thanks

Love the look of your pat, any chances you could give some pics of how the exhaust is set up? I'm looking for a dual outlet design, and im thinking about just using the stock muffler, as I don't want any extra sound.

I need to take some newer pics, I added a jeeppatriot.com sticker and chrome accessories. someone has scratched my sticker too. at least they didnt do the paint.that's why I didn't put any anti-obama stickers on it. :p

I got my Hushpower exhaust system done in south Seattle at the place where the original guy OH8 mentioned. And the Hushpower muffler fits perfectly and then you choose about single or dual outlets and types of tips. As I recall it costs from 350.00 up to 450.00 (whatever).
