i have nothing wrong with a Panda-like designed Mini-Jeep...but i would want the mini-jeep to be of the same size as the Kia Soul...maybe slightly bigger. i hate how the Panda wreaks of European metro-trend puke vomit. that's why. i know the Panda has lots of capability but it just reminds me too much of the little pieces of junk that zip around the streets of Paris. BLEHHHH.

there was a thread a month or two ago where i went through and listed out the perfect Mini-Jeep. if you can find it, please link it to me. i spent a lot of time writing out that post lol.

anyways, so which blue is that? that is a really nice color. is it the deep blue one? it looks too dark for the surf blue. i think it's a really nice blue and makes me second guess my intention to go with a black one. hmm...well that's a few years off and by then the Patriot will be gone or a new model will take its place (hopefully not the Panda though! :doh:)

that is one hell of a nice vehicle ploc...so when will the videos be rolling in? you should go onto Google Picasa and create an account, then create an album and just load it up!!!


Comment: what is up with the hood? is it not closed all of the way? i hope you closed it properly...it wouldn't be good to be sitting like that open in the elements...if it rained hard and such

Thanks, it is the new "Deep Water Blue" color. Once delivered, i will work on the video. Good eye that you caught the hood lid open? I have no idea as to why, i assume they are doing the prep for it. Thinking of either picking it up tomorrow night/Friday morning or next Tuesday afternoon.
As i did not expect it to arrive so quickly, have plans to go the US this weekend for the Victoria Day long weekend.

lol. well, maybe what you should do is bring someone along to videotape the whole thing. then, post it up on Google Picasa and we can all experience what it's (again for some, first time for others) like to buy a brand new special ordered Pat :smiley_thumbs_up:

Plus it is a paradise, i was in San Juan, a few years back on a cruise & fell in love with your island! One day "I'll be back" as a famous saying goes.

Sure thing. When you or anyone else heads down my way, even if you are just taking the cruise ship out of San Juan, gimme a holler.

although I understand your concern, and it's a beautiful colour, it's trail rated. get over it. :pepper:

ploc, my first night with my Jeep, I plunked a slice of pizza on the dash. That let me use (abuse) it like it was meant to be.

Went to check out the Riot this morning & here's the report:

1. The White dot on the edge of the driver door is "White Wax" rubbed off
2. The scratch like line on top of the Trail Rated Badge is again "White Wax"
3. The Ltd with HDD/Navi comes standard with the iPod wiring in the glove box, dealer will have to hook it up during prep.
4. The Wiring harness for towing also is standard
5. HDD/DVD do play DVD video with hand brake applied. Tested it & works.(earlier thread member in Ontario mentioned their unit did not play DVD video?)
6. Carpet mats are also included. (But need off-road style rubber mats, Jeep should know this & include the rubber mats & not the carpet type??)

Delivery is tomorrow 9:30am. They will clean & prep the car this afternoon.
Can't wait!
