I was wondering if the CVT transmission would have a problem overheating when trying to climb a steep hill. Seems like it definitely would with the FD1, but not sure if you have FD2 and can use lower gearing.
Nope it doesn't. At least not on the highway. I had no problem climbing extremely steep hills and mountains with the A/C running and maintaining speed. Even though there were numerous warning signs about turning off the A/C to avoid overheating the temperature gauge didn't move a hair.I was wondering if the CVT transmission would have a problem overheating when trying to climb a steep hill.
