A slippery 3 point turn we had to make.

Advantage - Peter with the supersliders protecting his rocker panels

Although you can really see the difference my tires make... :smiley_thumbs_up:

What a tease! We want more!!! ;)

Really, this is great stuff. I know we've got LOTS of paths like this in Ohio. There's no shortage of bumpy, mucky, tree-lined trails, particularly this time of year when things are thawing and the rain is frequent (my back yard would qualify, I think). Man, I want my Pat!

I love those supersliders. If you don't mind a few questions:
-I've heard differing accounts on how much ground clearance you lose if any from them. Can you tell me?
-It looks to me like you live in B.C. How much was shipping and handling, as well as duty for getting it across the border?
-Did you install it yourself? If so, how long did it take? Being inept, I would probably take it to a garage, but the time to install would give me an idea of how much that would cost.

Thanks

Awesone videos Heckler. I look forward to get my Pat out for camping and fishing. You guys went through some rough roads. It seems most of the videos we saw of the Patriot so far got stuck on less than that, mostly from bottoming out. You guys did great!

You don't really know what your jeep can handle until you find out what in cannot right!

I'm thinking of getting the RRO lift. I'm worried about messing up the factory settings, the installation and the ride quality.

What you guys think?

There must be some easier way to gather some fire wood... but it worked! I guess I was lucky the log was not 1/4" longer...
since you brought it up...

HOW NOT TO DRIVE OVER A LOG!

About the log???

I was following too close and could not see where the log jumped after heckler drove over it. Bet I could not do that again if I wanted to! There were some worries about the front end parts, but did not note any damage. Pat still drives straight. I may check my wheel alignment soon, just to make sure.

Supersliders are $369 plus shipping to Vancouver for about $446.65 total USD. Add exchange (currently about 1.26) and 12% for GST PST = $630 or so... no duty under NAFTA maybe another $15.00 for customs handling

I had NSOR off road shop to do install and they charged 1 1/2 hr shop time ($60 to $90 per hour - depending on your shop rates).

As you can see from the pictures, you only lose about 1 1/4" bellow the doors, but your ground clearance will not be affected, sliders are NOT the lowest point, they are at least 1 1/2" higher anyway. I will measure it next time.
