Well, it started with petbug getting a flat yesterday while backcountry skiing. The first GVRD trailrun almost got cancelled, but luckily I had a full sized spare to replace petbug's torn sideway. The trip was a go!

Vedder Mountain is a 4X4, quad, dirtbike and mountain bike haven. An hour from Vancouver, it's got some pretty good trails to challenge a Patriot. I'm happy to have my FDII, but I'd love to see what an FDI can do there.

We passed a couple other Patriots on the way out there, and I saw one parked right at the base of the mountain at someone's house. NEXT TIME, COME JOIN US!

there was three wheel action:

It's going to be a while to upload everything. Lot's of videos that prove, well, not much, but they're pretty fun.

We'll start with a shot of petbug's slick supersliders from RRO. I like 'em! I have to say, Rocky Road's claims are true - these babies are solid! And they don't take away any ground clearance at all. In fact, I think they add ground clearance, because you can use all that's available.

Oh yeah, in case anyone's wondering - both are 2" lifted FDII's. The red one has stock SR-A tires and supersliders and the silver one has General Grabber AT2's.

This was a spot I decline to try last year when I was here with SRA's.

you can see the difference between the tires, although I have another video of the red one with stock SRA's making it up. just gotta upload tonight...

what, no comments? discussion? ESP on? ESP off? Could an FDI do this?

Or is it just sensory overload. Too much at once? 'Cuz I'm saving the best till last.:Na_Na_Na_Na:

As I viewed the videos i wondered about the ESP, especially in Vid 57? Fully off perhaps? Was the PAT in drive or low? Whatever the case the trail ride looked like a load of fun! Thanks for the vids Heckler - and can't wait to see what comes last! We have many similar areas around here for some decent 4x4 action but there are usually is so many Alders and other undergrowth that it is hellish on the paint job...
