You've probably got one of these already, Inouk, but because most of the trails near me are as muddy and gloppy as that one which you were on , I always carry a Rolson hand-puller in the back of the car. They're really cheap and lightweight and they'll easily pull a ton and a half or more. To get the best out of one you also need a few feet of strong extension rope (the cables on the hand-pullers are only about six yards long) and a beefy piece of angle iron to whack into the ground about three feet deep.
As long as the gradient isn't too ferocious these'll get you going again no matter how stuck you are.

Hey, sorry for delays. What a week it was!
I lied to you all a little bit, I didn't went there to do a off-road but to see new lands to build my house. I had a dinner after that also, I didn't want to get dirty (me, not the Patriot). I didn't know that the road wasn't ready yet but I went there anyway. It was fun !
Oh, FYI, I just bought a land there, a 16 500 foot square. I love that region ! The land that I bought is located on the left side of the Patriot.

Thank you for your advice! It's true to say that hand puller and/or winch helps a lot ! I don't go out in the woods without it. In fact, I ride often with my ATV, here's some pictures of me being stuck:rocal said:

cool stuff! how is Quebec compared to Montreal? from what i understand Montreal is not only bigger, but more urbanized right? i get that picture from looking on the map as well. do you currently live in the city center or in outlying suburbs?25 minutes from Quebec, up north. Quebec is at 2h30 from Montreal.
Montreal is much bigger than Quebec. Montreal city have a population of 1 600 000. 3 700 000 lives in metropolitan area.
In comparison, population of Quebec city is 500 000 and 715 000 lives around.
plot of land? I'm not sure if I understand your question ? There's 31 lands for sale (15 already sold) each as big as around 16 500 square foot. There's not neighborhood on the back of each land.
i was asking how much was it to purchase your land? what was price?
