It's alive!!!! Coolant is filed runs at 210 idle. Fan clutch is still on there and not gonna be touched. Bought a belt wrench and still couldnt get the bolts loose. Coolant is leaking out of the lower hose at the water pump looks like I put the hose clamp on crooked. Waiting for it to cool down so I can fix that atm.

Next project: Valve cover gasket.

Also noticed a little bit of oil dripping off a nut on the oil pan. Could be from the valve gasket but thinking the oil pan gasket is shot also.

Good deal! Well, all except that fan clutch! lol

...but if it ain't broke, don't fix it! hahaha
But when it goes bad... It's still gonna be a pain to get off lmao maybe I'll have some better tools by then.

Also I've been wanting to take a trip put west.... But with the way the patriot has been acting lately I wouldn't even trust it to make the trip :(

Everything.

Alternator decouplor pulley.
Ac makes some funky sounds when its on.
Clunking from the front end on bumps
Knocking sound between 1-5 and 5-1MPH
Swaying/loose steering at highway speed.
Bad CVT whines even on short flat trips

I'm sure I am missing stuff. I'm almost certain I know the causes just waiting to get the cherokee finished so I can use it while I fix the patiot

All the expensive stuff should be covered under warranty.

Got the lower hose to a slight leak instead of a pour... Thinking of rtving it around the edges can't get the hose and tighter. Drove it around town temp stayed around 210. Noticed my oil pressure was at 60 for a while after I started it even at idle. Also my spedometer went out until I stoped for a bit whole ferrying gas then started working. Was a bit odd but glad it's working

That should be all the good parts...get you a drill bit that is a little smaller than the diameter of the bolt, of course. Carefully drill out the center of the broken bolt just a bit, and then you can use the extractor. If there is still a good amount of the bolt sticking out of the head, then you may be able to attach the extractor tool to the end and just unscrew it. BUT, before you do anything, I would soak the area around the threads for a day or so to let it get lubed up and maybe broken free and a little easier before you go extracting the bolt.
Don't worry though. That kind of thing always happens, and I've got plenty of tricks for that too! :p

Well the fun continues on. Battery terminals where a little corroded they where basically corroded onto the post. I got the negative off but the positive wouldn't even come off after taping it with a rubber mallet ended up giving up as I'm gonna swap the positive line as the corrosion goes down the wire. Tried to take the battery out and noticed the plastic is cracked on the tray where the mount meets the tray.... Its all the little hard to see things that get me :(

Used baking soda and water came right out.

Had to jump it because I left a door open... That was a pain because the security system activated and I couldn't get it off therefore I couldn't him the jeep.

Anyway it's back together no coolant leaks no oil leak from the broken bolt so I'm gonna leave it.

I'm craving driving it around all day... But its in the back of my parrents driveway so I'd have to drive over there any have everyone move their car :(.
Might taking it wheeling June 14th to sre how it does stockm

Put a 4G wire running from the battery to the metal price that mounts above the radiator. **** starts right up now no delayed starting.

Also noticed an oil drip from behind the oil pan I think the rear main is bad :(

Luckily o belive ny oil pan has been taken off saw a little tag thing that looked like a old todo list from a mechanic. oil pan gasket was an item on the list. Still think it's gonna be in the ass.... I guess while the pans out I might as well check that gasket.
