Same here... I needed the most fuel effecient vehicle that wouldn't get stuck.

I like the looks, but that wasn't a primary factor.

Decent capability + decent fuel economy, excellent value. When making the decision, it seemed like the perfect vehicle all-around for our purposes, and has proven to be exactly that.

I've never understood getting a 'cheap' rig (which, like it or not, the Patriot is) and then spending $10,000 to make it 'better'.

You get a whole lotta car for your money!
It looks fantastic!
Great MPG,
low road tax band (£180 per year Grand Cherokee is soon to be £400 per year),
Traditional Jeep looks,
Sexy,
I got the LTD so has lots of great extras!
Still very rare around here, there are loads of Chreokee's and Grands and ML's, Rav 4's, X5's................ I've only ever seen 2 other pats!

And the JEEP name Afterall Jeep is the Original and best 4x4 manufacturer all the other are just imitations and wanna-bes'

always told my parents that one day I will own a Jeep and well I'm slowly working on it lol. But i liked the body style and the fact that being 6'4'' i fit with plenty of leg room and head room actually. When i went and test drove one that had already been sold i fell in love and jumped at the first one they had coming in. its only the 4x2 kinda wish i would have gone with the 4x4 but with killer gas mileage and plenty of space im as happy as ever in it.
