Pictures of Jeeps are never boring, although we do suggest that you remove all dealer adverts such as licence frames and in locations where no front plate required you replace same with your alumni or favourite sports team plate.:smiley_thumbs_up:

I have a really good dealer treats me like family, so I left his license frames on.

He had to keep the patriot for a day for a warranty problem. He supplied me with a loaner car and washed mine before returning it after it was repaired.

Gives me 10% off on factory accessories I buy.

I stopped in to pick up a part I had ordered. He saw My wife's 300 was dirty and asked if we had 30 min to spare, we said sure we wanted to go to lunch down the street. He had his guys wash the car and clean the interior while we went to lunch. NO CHARGE! has done that twice.

First time in my life I have left any dealer adverts on my car but I think He deserves it.:smiley_thumbs_up:

Looking good! Like the fogs (wish I had them).... Now get that muffler black!

As for dealer info: I bought mine less than an hour after it got off of the truck... They were giving it it's first (dealer) wash while I was signing the papers, and I had to go back the next day for my free gas as they didn't have time to take it to the gas station they go to before the station closed.... definitely no time for them to put any dealer info on it!

One of the things I like about my dealer, is that they don't use decals. Just the plate frames. Gonna remove the front one for something nicer, but I'm going to leave the back one.

Glad to hear on this forum of positive relationships with dealers. Also often people do get treated well by service while the sales experience was a pain in the ___.

Many others have a faithful mechanic, so all should show their support however possible.

haha well in my case, i just bought the thing and drove it home..
i need to go up to the bdy shop this saturday and see if they can install RRO's and wheels, but i dont see why they would be able to.

A few people have posted on this site about how they'd rather have the European bumpers as opposed to the North American ones. Well, I'm not so sure that you would. A European bumper goes down further to the ground to comply with E.U. regulations regarding pedestrian safety. However, it dramatically cuts down the entry angle. Here's a thumbnail of mine up on the summit of Danby Beacon recently; you'll see what I mean. If you're driving onto a lonely stretch of beach, you sometimes have mini-dunes or sand-bars to cross before you get to the flat stuff. Up in the Scottish islands I've had to take a spade to do a bit of flattening-out in order to prevent "bulldozing". I'm sure that wouldn't have happened if I'd had a Canadian/American bumper. I don't know how Land Rovers have gotten around this regulation, because a Freelander 2 has definitely got a higher bumper than a Pat.
