The jeep fought the teardown every step of the way, but today I wiped my hands free of it and picked up the next build. Say hello to a 1993 Lexus LS400, with 105k original miles, factory air suspension, full black interior in near perfect condition, and a ton of potential.

Wow, somebody must've hated driving it, lol. Half of us have at least 70k miles on Patriots that are barely 7-8 years old in some cases. Then again, it could've just been a garage queen that the previous owner(s) didn't want to get dirty or something like that. Looks pretty slick, congratulations.

The previous owner owned it 17 1/2 years and only put 50k miles on it. The leather isn't cracked at all, the paints in great condition, it's just got two dents and a spidercracked rear bumper. The car is immaculate, so i'm really excited.

I have 91k on my 2008 patriot, so stepping back 14 years and gaining 14k miles was strange.

Lol, no kidding. Something tells me that thing's gonna have 200k miles on it by this time 2018, easily.

Hey, just a quick question about driving a lowered Patriot... How (if it all) was the torque steer after lowering? If it was diminished at all, did you notice a specific ride height that seemed to eliminate it the most?

Even as low as I was, torque steer was hardly an issue. I really didn't "feel" for it, if that shows how little it was. It was scary how far I'd drive places without holding the wheel even when accelerating. My roommate swears we made it to Georgia without touching the wheel, just resting my knee against the wheel to prevent chatter.

Have you done anything to your import yet? You've disappeared since selling your Patriot.
Not really. Just fixed a few broken things, my first real purchase will be over 2k so it's going to be awhile.

I've been recently messing around with LEDS in attempts to eventually make my own turn signals, and chaser taillights.

Awesome, thank you!

Sorry for posting here but I can't send private messages , I was wondering did you have to do any kind of fittment to install the euro bumper? Waiting mine for monday.
You managed to get a euro bumper into the states?

You won't be able to use your current undercarriage splash guard nor will the wheel well liners fit properly. Also, your crash bar will not sit in the proper place, it sits right at the top of the bumper which is weird but you aren't able to get the UK crash bar. We went through about 15 different crash bar part numbers and none of the were the correct one.

Well this week I was driving and someone hit my truck in the front and the insurance are paying for my bumper. So I said why not put the euro one right now. In 24 hours I found one and it's on it's way in Québec Canada :-D. Thank you for your help

That's awesome news. It took us about 100 hours of attempting to con dealerships to successfully get mine into the states. It was ordered from overseas and shipped.

Mine is already here in Canada. I used to work in a chrysler jeep dealer, so I took the power of using this and getting it direct from company.

Chrysler USA said they were unable to order the part for me as it's export only. I have a feeling since your in the "export" territory it wasn't bad for you. They told me to stick it multiple times haha
