Finally got my wheels mounted on my General Exclaim UHP 245/40/20. Special thanks to my boy rdunlap for all the inspiration. Thanks to everyone else on here who helped me choose tire size and convinced me to stay away from 22's (potholes are terrible in my area). Black wheel weights and black painted valve stems should be done next weekend. Color matched (same as my taillights) front turn signals will be done this summer so I can take them off and send them to my dude when I go on vacation. Also in the process of looking for a tint film or something to smoke the headlights and foglights when I get them put on. Black mesh grills coming this summer also when I get free time. Hope you all enjoy!

Looks good brother, whats the tint % on the tail lights??? Did you take it in or do it yourself???

wasn't really a big fan of big rims but i like it. it looks good all blacked out :smiley_thumbs_up:

Looks a real dangerous beast! Love to have that too cept the wheels, some of our roads are so bad I`d probably bite my tongue and bang the head on the roof all the time with those 20"`s. But I`m not sure if it`s legal over here to have all the lights smoked like you`re planning. Is it OK in the US - I mean you don`t have to have it approved by a technical station or something?

I got the antenna on ebay and it gets pretty bad reception not gonna like. It doesn't matter to me though because I cant stand the radio so I just listen to my ipod haha. As for the taillights they are not tinted they are actually the same paint code as the jeep but its mixed with clear so the paint shines through I got them done by tranmanh.com He does absolutely amazing work. No they are not legal but I haven't ran into any problems yet (KNOCK ON WOOD) I am actually getting the front turn signals done by him as well. We don't have inspections or any of that **** here in Indiana. I thought about dropping it but probably wont because we get a decent amount of snow here in the winter and I am getting some 16" steel wheels and big snow tires for the winter :)

lookin good buddy.we gotta get a side by side pic someday. that windshield is dark as ****! nice

thanks man. Windshield really isnt that dark pics just make it appear that way its only 50% I am thinking about getting my windows redone but idk for sure. Since the stock is like what 35% and I have 15% over it in the back I think if I do 5% on the front 2 windows they should be about the same as the back windows or am I wrong?

looks real nice. Love the tread.

seems like the headlights need to be blacked out too.

BTW, The sound ads in Photo Bucket just got me in a bind. Had the volume way up, and when I pulled up your photos .. a voice came screaming out "SAY SOMETHING.. SAY SOMETHING".. this girl from downstairs was at the water cooler and she thought I was coming on her or something.

that b*tch is blacked the f*ck out!!!!
nice job bigphill

where did you get your antenna? i have the 13' and find it too tall as i dont listen to the radio

Do you understand what the tint number means? Let's say you only tint the headlamps 35%, which seems very mild, especially compared to the 3% you have on your rears now. Stock headlight bulbs put out about 1600 lumens of output. That means you only allow 35% of the light to pass, so now you are down to 560 lumens. That is worse than replacing a 100w household light bulb with a 40w bulb.

If how the lights look offends you, use covers during the day and take them off at night so you still have maximum light output to see (not be seen).

just drive with your high beams on to make up for it

first things first my taillights now are not tint they are custom painted to match the color of the jeep and light output is probably more like 2% lmao 2ndly im lightly smoking the headlights probably more like 50% and like i said i don't care and a custom 8000k hid kit is in the process of things either so it makes u feel any better I will be blinding people with skattered light less then people with hid that doesnt have their headlights tinted ha
