...well sort of. It's technically MY Jeep in MY name but my wife has claimed it as her own. We did own a 2003 Jeep Liberty that was nothing but problems. Bought it 4 years ago with 55k miles on it for $10k, we put another $5k in repairs (most of which I did myself). She wanted another Jeep and I told her when she was pregnant, I'd buy her one.

So here we are!

2015 Jeep Patriot - 18 miles on it when we took it for a test drive, bought it that day too.
Altitude Edition (we didn't need or want all the extras, and any Chrysler sunroof is a POS, I've gone through SIX between two cars).
2.0L (meh, I wanted the 2.4L but whatever)
Automatic CVT
Tax, title, car, and all the extras it came out to $23k. Price was $19k. $3500 trade in and awesome credit has me paying $95/mo more than our old Liberty!

I've owned nothing but Dodge/Plymouth/Jeeps my entire life. I come from a Neon background (400whp SRT4 is my toy, getting big boy upgrades now). So 4 cylinders are my comfort zone.

It's going in Tuesday for some Teflon paint treatment and remote start. I did drive it through some nearly knee high snow drifts without traction control on, this thing just plows and handles pretty well actually. I'm not going to be like a car editor and compare it's handling and power to a Lexus or Porsche but for an entry model, low end vehicle....I'm pleased.

While I got a topic up, what's everyone seeing for the CVT gas mileage? Salesman told me to expect 24 high, 20 city. The kid that took us to get gas confirmed this give or take 2mpg (my wife drives like an old person). We haven't filled it up yet to see. I just wanted a general idea.

Our Liberty BARELY got 14mpg city....downhill....wind pushing. So any improvement is nice.

Welcome Burks! I haven't done my first fill yet either, and it may be a bit low due to idling/autostart due to frigid Fargo temps, but that seems about right based on what many are getting on here. Driving habits will make it vary. After my 8-10 mpg Ram it seems ridiculously great.

I'm getting 27-29mpg on a good day, but that's flat interstates, almost no cargo, and with some minor modifications. Loaded or going through the southern Appelachians I've seen 22-23mpg.

Welcome!!

Luckily my luck has been much better with my first Jeep. My 99 Xj has been nothing but reliable and has yet to leave me stranded in 10 years and well over 120k. My family just bought are 3rd Jeep, a 2015 Patriot High Altitude edition 4x4, under 500 mi.
