WOW! Amazing ability. I wish I could do this. I may be interested at some point, unfortunately, all my spare money is going into my own home. I would love one of these based on my parent's house, a 1906 5,000 sq ft Mayer house.

Jackie, can you draw a Patriot? I'm sure some here might really get interested if you could take a photo they submitted and turn it into a work of art. The website illustrations are quite impressive. There's real talent there...

Just curious, how long does something like this take? I imagine the amount of detail makes a difference, but on average...

That's one hell of a discount! Not sure it is warranted. I'm all about paying people a fair wage for quality work, and $150 even struck me as low for an 11x17 ink portrait. Hell, we paid something like $60-80 for a color caricature of the two of us at the Renaissance Festival last summer! And, my parents wouldn't tell me how much they paid some lady for a painting of their house - I can only guess several hundred or more.

Anyway, this is awesome. I could see you doing one of our Pat pictures in ink at some point too, great idea.

Thanks for all the favorable comments! I might do a drawing of my Patriot sometime and post it to see how it goes.

One drawing usually takes the better part of a day from start to finish.

Unfortunately I don't need a picture of my apartment... But hopefully in the future when I get a couple of dollars I would like to get one done. Though it might be a little different than you are used to (I am a structural engineer, and would probably get a picture of on of my buildings under construction so that you can see the structure.
