Hey guys, a little rundown of a problem I'm having. Keep in mind I'm in Australia and the Patriot isn't the most common car you see on our roads (which we drive on the wrong side of the road according to the US((meaning our imports are converted to right hand drive)).

So a few weeks ago the ABS, ESP, Traction control, and 4WD warning lights came on and were intermittent. They'd go on and off when ever they felt like it. I took it to a dealer who scanned it and said the light were probably caused by two things, over temperature warnings and the transmission oil/filter/gasket needed replacing and the left rear wheel sensor(I have read this is a common issue). The transmission was serviced($750 "trade price" :/) however I'm still waiting on the sensor($150 installed) to come in. The lights just do what ever they want now, sometimes all four lights come on, sometimes it's just the 4wd light flashing, sometimes it's the other three just on but today I just noticed a new one, the airbag light has come on. It turns on and off when ever it feels like (along with the others).

Has anyone experienced similar issues? I can't seem to find anything related to all these different warnings going off at the same time, just bits and pieces on each. My knowledge on cars isn't the best but from what I'm gathering I think it may have something to do with wiring or computer type problem not a wheel speed sensor.

The car is a 2009 Patriot Sport 2.4 Automatic with 130,000 kilometes (unsure what that is in miles)

Any information would be much appreciated and really helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like this

My guess is either a wheel speed sensor

Or the wires under the plastic foot pedal just to the left of the brake pedal, they could be corroded from getting wet and drying all the time.

So the airbag light could also be related to the speed wheel sensor?

I've just noticed the light turns off while going around some bends or corners and then comes back on driving straight.
