Nice Kath! That's one good looking Patriot.

If you could put one of those portable police cruiser lights on it and go kick some ass... A trail rated unmarked cop Jeep :smiley_thumbs_up: That's what I'm talking about.

I just though I would see the poor sap who drove by Kath in their new Patriot and had it confiscated.:D

congrats. looks good!
silly question, but how do you get the silver bumpers? is that part of a specific package or is that available in the limited? mine is a monochrome sport and i haven't seen any with silver bumpers, even on the road (and i like the way that looks).

the sport comes with the same color bumpers
and the slive bumpers come on the limited

i still havent got the door opener working.... but other then that i love it soooooooo much its perfect
as much as i hated the long wait it was so worth it

Kath, what is happening when you try to program the garage door opener?

Mistakes I made were: Failing to clear the initial setting. Not holding my garage door opener remote and pressing both long enough for the settings to take hold. And wasted time on my garage door mechanism looking for a setting that was not there as it is older than 1996.

Now all of the information is in the owners manual but it is fairly complicated. I went to the website and between the two was able to figure it out.

I used the rolling code and it ended up being very simple once I cleared the factory setting. Just held down my remote and the button I was programming until it quickly flashed. Of course that was after spending an hour taking apart a garage door opener searching for the damn settings and a button that doesn't exist on mine.

yeah we spent an hour messing with it last night
and succesfully unprogramed the door
its was loads of fun
so today im going to do it before everyone else gets home haha

Sweet!!! Enjoy your new ride. My experience with black is that it's a little harder to keep clean, but looks verrry sharp when it is. I'm sure you'll love washing it as much as you do driving it.
LOL I enjoy driving but not so much washing although I do it about every 3-4 days. I can't stand for it to be dirty. Im 5'2 so I have to get a ladder and still cant get all the top, it drives me nuts! Its all worth it when its washed and dried and tires are nice and shiny. Looks great in the driveway until my husbands car pulls in and hasn't been washed in a year. I gave it a sympathy wash the other day. My husband was happy and thinks im going to wash his car when I wash mine from now on lol. Ill wash his every 3-4 months maybe if hes lucky, my car has to shine!

I've been reading this board for several months, but haven't had a reason to post until now...

Congrats Kath on finally getting your Patriot... you've waited so long.

It's beautiful, and you look so happy in the pictures. I know you'll really enjoy it!

Congratulations Kath, looks like the wait was worth it. Great looking Patriot.

My wait begins in September when the Patriot is first available Downunder. Heading to the US next week for work so I will definitely try test driving one.... I will be happy just to see one ! Can anyone recommend a Jeep dealer that I could talk to near either Pismo Beach CA or Denver CO ?
