Has anyone with a 2.0 CRD (VW BKD Engine) Jeep engine code ECE or ECD changed the timing belt using the locking pins and then had issues with fuel timing?
The same engine is used in various VAG vehicles including the Audi A3 and VW Golf MK5. The VAG process for changing the timing belt is exactly the same as Jeep's, except VW reset the fuel pump timing with VAGCOM.
Jeep do not have a process for resetting the fuel pump timing and cannot even tell me IF it can be done with WiTech.
Fuel timing with these engines is critical and this seems crazy. VW cannot do it as VAGCOM cannot talk to the Patriot's ECU
