Today I had to go some place about 15 miles away and here in Toronto we are getting a massive Winter Storm. The Patriot was unbelievable, cars were barely moving and I was sailing past them like they were standing on the sidewalk.

Waiting at a stop light, cars would come up beside me, I would give them a four car length head start and I would sail by them like they sitting still, no sliding, no fishtailing just straight and true, unbelievable.

Im in NH and as everyone knows the weather changes when you blind. We have a huge storm here and people seem to have never seen snow before. My god its only been 8 months MAX since we have seen snow. I guess certain New Englanders have short term memory loss???

We got about 9 inches in Brantford (about 60 mi west of Toronto) and I had NO problems whatsoever getting where I had to go.

Around 1PM I was coming out of the Tim Hortons onto Hardy Rd at the railroad crossing in 6 inches of unplowed snow. I had to climb up a 10-15 degree slope to the road and stop at the top of the grade - the Patriot went up, stopped and took off after the train and traffic cleared without any slipping.

I love this Jeep!

FYI - be careful around railroad crossings in heavy snowstorms. I heard a railroad dispatcher tell a signal maintainer a freight train hit a truck, bus and car at Torbram Road in Brampton this afternoon. The city bus was in the crossing and was shoved into the other two vehicles when the train hit it. Keep well clear of the crossing and other vehicles if you can.

There's no doubt that the Patriot is one hell of a snow bunny. Still, when one of your friends tells you about how the snow kicked their "regular car's" butt all over the place, avoid telling them about how aswome your Patriot handles the snow. It just ticks them off. Like a sapien telling a neanderthal that they're stupid!

I was out in the unplowed roads of waterloo, ON last night, and let me tell you, it was FUN plowing the road with my belly.

Got to try the Patriot in snow today for the first time. I just cleared the snow from the windows, and plowed over the piles left by the snow plow. I went for a short drive through the neighborhood and had no issues at all...

Still no snow for Ohio :(, which is surprising cause we always get it the worst. Still patiently waiting, but not for the type that causes power outtages! Yikes.

You all be careful out there! The Patriot only does half of the work you know!

This just come up on my computer so I thought I would share it with you jepstr maybe you would like to come up here and do a little snow removal.

We had our first snow and the local plowing was caught a bit off guard. As a result we had very icy roads and very slippery going. Our Pat took us to the stores without a hitch. I really enjoyed when we got home and the pat climbed over the bank of snow where the plow went by and up our icy driveway without a hitch. It looked like a freaking tank climbing up and over! By the way, my wife drove it, and had a ball doing it!

dodged a ice storm friday. all rain. weather man said if the temp would have been 3 degrees lower, the city would have been shut down. another storm starting tonite into sunday. 1-4" of snow.

PA Patriot, what part of PA are you from? I am from Reading and we are having ice right now. I don't drive ice no matter what, unless there are studs. We have a plow truck for that and it is studded. I can't wait for some decent snow to try the Patriot out.

I'd take feet of snow over an ice storm any time.
