Having been on this forum for over a year I have heard many beefs and bouquets about various Chrysler/Jeep dealers.

If you have something to say about a dealer, post the dealer name so we can all visit, or avoid them !

Thank-you...

1400 motors in Nashua N.H. :
- 2006, bought a wrangler off them, the sales man was the biggest dick ever! I traded in a 2002 wrangler and the salesman called my phone (after he tried to screw me out of $1,000 bucks) and said "Bill, I can get you what ever you want for that jeep i've got a purto rician who wants it" He got fired shortly after that.
- 2007 traded in my 2006 wrangler and the salesman and dealership were fine.

New Jersey as with most places probably have alot of those pushy dealers. Even when I went in and told them I wasn't going to buy just wanted to look still got that "what can we do to close the deal today". Global auto mall on rt.22 was the worst with that. Fullerton in Bridgewater I've used before but they were a little pushy too, then the salesman left and didn't want to go through the whole thing again with another guy there. So I ended up at BelleMead garage. A small dealer, only one sales person, the owner, not pushy, gave me the info I wanted and took care of me when I had some minor problems.
I would definatlely recommend them.

Well, where I live we only have one Jeep dealership, another one an hour away. I emailed the one an hour away. I asked about getting a Patriot, he wrote back and basicly said we can't do that, which I knew was a bunch of bunk. So I went over to the one where I live. Got answers, yes we can have one built for you, with what you want. I told the salesman that once I got my car sold I would be back to order. Went back to him and ordered. I called him and he would update me on the status. The day after hubby and I got back from camping, I called to find out about my Patriot. The salesman said "Let me call you back!" about 5-10 minutes later he goes "It's sitting in the back lot. I didn't even know it was here. It came in over the weekend!" I was excited and I asked when I could get it, I think I got it the next day or two days later. He has emailed me a couple of times seeing how I like the Patriot. Their service department is awesome. When you have an appointment at 10, they look at the clock and get it in right on time. Very friendly, honest people. They've been in business over 40 years I believe. The owner died a few years ago and his wife is our State Rep. I would recommend them to anyone. Considering Majority of Jeeps here in our county come from them.

Had a dealer in Tilbury Ontario give me a deal by email, showed up to buy it, and he raised by price $1000. Told me I'd get a gov't rebate of $1000 even after I pointed out that the rebate program ended with the 08 model year.

Sweeney Chrysler Dodge Jeep Lebanon, Ohio
Purchased 2008 Patriot and 2008 Chrysler 300 good deals on both. ! service trip each for problem fixed quickly, gave me a rental car for Chrysler repair had to wait over night for part. Always happy to see me just a great dealer and I have said that about very few dealers in my life.

Milam Jeep Mazda in Puyallup, WA is a wonderful dealership to work with. We bought our Patriot there and then did the trade in for the Wrangler Unlimited. Great sales staff & service staff.

Dearth in Monroe WI is good. The only thing I would like is for there to be a "car guy" on staff. A real nerd, motor head I can chin-wag with about old Jeeps and how they compare to new models. A guy who reads up on all the new models and visits the allpar website often. Otherwise I got a good deal at a fair price and good follow up service.

Butler Chrysler/Jeep in Butler New Jersey
the buying process was spot on everyone was great and professional

Service on the other hand reminded me of the movie Spinal Tap ...one screw up after another, no rental car during the about a months worth of time my Pat was in the shop. Several wrong parts ordered. was a fiasco I wouldn't go there again if the entire jeep fell apart...250 bucs for spark plugs? ..i did it in half an hour ...Jesus.

I purchased three vehicles from Jacksonville Chrysler Jeep Dodge here in NE Florida. The last two being my two Jeeps.... Gotta give 'em 5 stars for their sales, service an boby shop departments.

Tazman - wow! I bought mine at Belle Mead Garage too, which is pretty amazing considering how small of a dealer it is, and that we're on pretty much a worldwide forum for Patriots. I know Kip (the owner) very well... definitely a good dealer to buy from, although they did a terrible job trying to fix my roof leak. I also miss the services of some of the big dealers like brand new loaner cars, customer shuttle, and so on. But overall they're a really nice bunch of people, especially considering it's NJ.

Well I was in the desert and bought mine thru AAFES.It was delivered to Armory Chrysler in Albany NY.My wife went to pick it up in a snowstorm and when she got there they just basically gave her the keys and said" here ya go".She had to ask them to pull it inside so she could check it over. Before buying it thru AAFES she went to Milford Chrysler in PA but they were too pushy and even tried to steer her to a Suzuki.
Since getting it home we have taken it to Suresky Chrysler in Goshen NY for service and some warranty work and they have been very pleasant to deal with.

fazzz, I was kinda concerned about it being a small dealer for the reasons you mentioned but so far they've been quite accomadating. I've mentioned to Kip about some of the problems on the forum and he mentioned about a Steel Blue with the roof leak and that it was the Pat I originally was looking at before I decided to go with the SBO.
Is it finally resolved?

Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, Canada. Dodge City - The Royal Garage. Good salesman and my lone service visit was decent. Would have been excellent but the service advisor blew me off when I complained about the occasional crack/clunk from the front suspension and referred them to the applicable (in my opinion) Rapid Response Transmittal. Word has it that the only other dealer (Tom Woodford) is like dealing with the devil....

Armand auto in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, Québec, Canada. Medium size dealer, great people.

Junction Auto Sales in Chardon, Ohio has been the best dealership I have ever dealt with. The treat you fair and are honest with you up front. Everybody from the sales staff to the service staff are as nice as can be. After you purchase a vehicle from them, you are invited to a catered party that happens several times a year where you meet all the employees of Junction. Quite an experience. I would highly recommend them.

Dealer: Maroone Chrysler Jeep Dodge, coconut creek florida
Buy date: early may 2008

Was not a lay down, did most dealing on the phone and email.
Although sales person was extremely rude as was manager, got best deal of 5 dealerships around me. Rudeness abounds and would not trust one of them with much of anything.

Sales manager complete ahole...until I met him in person. I am 6'4" and a big build, he was a stocky 5'5". He tried the handshake where he pulls your arm forward. I won that battle. He was nice after that. Lucky as I was gonna hit him and go to the other dealer.

Even though I had cash in hand in the form of a verifiable check, they illegally ran my credit report, sat me down by myself for an hour with some 'fake salesman' trying to sell me stuff and each time I walked out they brought me back. Very annoying.

(my car had just broken down, so I did have to buy something that day...lol)

The guy wanted me to fill out some BS credit form, said 'they had to by law, the patriot act'.
I asked to see the manager and provided the number to a congressman and the attorney general of florida. I also said I would sign what they said I had to, but they had to put it in writing. (they ended up pulling my report anyway). Patriot act is BS about cars.

After getting car, finally, I drove off. Whew.

Was deathly afraid 6 months later to bring it in for the oil change.... with the way things are I can just see guys back there with sledgehammers waiting to tally up the damage in the repair shop. However, they were starving and absolutely treated me like a king and gave me my first change free. Car still seems to run good with no problems, so maybe they did not break anything.

So, horrible sales experience, scummy business practices, starving service section.

sales F-
Business itself F- (bordering on illegal)
service C (very friendly, but not enough data)

Summary- only if you cannot find a better deal.

Avondale Dodge and Avondale Chrysler/Jeep (two separate dealerships next to each other). Good experiences so far!

In the last 4 years I've bought my '06 Charger there, a used 2000 GMC Sanoma pickup (work vehicle), 07 Caliber (also work vehicle), and now my FDII Pat.

Salesmen can be a bit pushy, but not too bad. They have a huge inventory and are willing to wheel and deal - including getting stuff from other dealerships. When I got my Pat, after I test drove a couple, I told him I wanted an FDII sport, preferrably green.. basically all other options were negotiable.

It took them 3 days, but they found one about 2-hours away at another dealership, negotiated a trade with that place, and brought mine down to me. And with a pretty good price tag to boot.

I will be buying from them again.

Medina World Cars

Small dealership in Medina, Ohio. Family owned and very friendly staff. I have bought 4 Jeeps from this dealership and will continue to do business. Only had one bad sales experience on the 2nd Jeep but that salesman is no longer with the company. We get excellent service everytime we are there for oil changes and regular maintenance. My mother has also had excellent service by this dealership. I would highly recommend to anyone.
