So, Ive noticed that about once a week that the adjustment lever on the outside of the drivers seat completely falls off of my seat. It snaps right back into place, but a week later it will fall off again. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Im wondering if its something that my warranty should cover or if its just a cheap piece. Id hate to spend half a day at the dealership and have them tell me its fixed and then it just pops off again in a week.

I've had the outer seat belt cover pop off numorous times on both the Compass and the Patriot. That is just bad design. Unless I can figure out where I can put a screw in it, it will continue and only get worse over time.
I would think if the adjustment lever falls off there must be something wrong. You could at least ask the dealer. How often do you adjust the seat? Does it fal off when you use it or just any time for no reason?

get that fixed under a warranty issue.
Next time it falls off..leave it off and take it in.
We use our adjustment leaver probably 3-4 times a week and its never falled off.
Im certain its an easy fix.

To answer your question, it falls off whenever it wants whether its used or not. As a matter of fact, even when i put it back on, I can pull it right back off with no effort at all.
