So, I'm in talks with a possible purchaser? of my coilovers. I have a 2008 FWD, and the buyer has a 2013 4x4 and is concerned about fitment.

Does anyone know of any known differences that would prevent him from bolting these coilovers up? To my knowledge, the only difference is the spring upgrade from the 1st gen, and 2nd gens. Since the coilovers just replace the entire assembly, and attach the sway bar up front I personally don't feel as there would be an issue.

Thanks in advance, and a huge shoutout to those who have helped me over the past 4 years.

The front suspension is the same with the exception of the springs and struts. From 2011 on, all Patriots used the "off road" springs and struts that give a 1" lift compared to the older 2wd versions. In the rear, the sway bar was increased in diameter and the mounting was changed. Newer Patriots use a rubber bushing based sway bar end link. Also, I believe the tow links come standard with camber bolts installed in the newer version. Lastly, I believe that the trailing arms were changed slightly. The later ones have a stiffer suspension which were common to the 4wd with the RUF package. If what he is wanting to buy replaces the strut assemblies, then he should be fine. However, if the height is different he will probably have to buy front camber bolts and possibly the adjustable upper rear control arms and the adjustable rear tow links.

The assemblies he'd be buying replace the entire assembly. For the 2007-2010 the rear has nothing mounted to the assembly. It's simply just mounted to the strut tower and the LCA. Front and back it replaces the entire spring, strut, shock tube
And perches with the coilover.
