The question is, whether this can be done with non-trail rated Patriot:

Anyway, if nobody say that this is VERY stupid, I will try something similar this weekend, only using much lower obstacle.

Tell me is this possible?

That's the burning "diagonal hangout" question that's under debate on another thread. The FDII should behave the same way as this video.

The FDI - there are many options, but not many tests. If it's capable, it should work in "L" + "4x4" + ESP partial or ESPOFF (or Autostick "1" + "4x4" + ESPpartial or ESPOFF)

yes it will i have a trail rated limited and do this always on the farm going through 4 wheeler tracks, ruts are about 6 feet by 3feet high aliitle rubbing but it goes no prob . thats what the skid plates are for!:)

My '89 Cherokee, '93 and '97 Grands could do it. The Pat 4x2, NOT!
I, to this day, have never seen anything pricier than a Jeep do these things in person.
Remember, if you roll it and have to drive to work the next day, you have a lot of explaining to do with your fellow workers, not to mention the wife and insurance company.:D

Of course it can't. You need AWD to do that. Very cool video, Hogar. The Discovery 3 is quite a nice offroader, isn't it?

I think it can be done with the Patriot. Good to see that you're making the most of the off-road capabilities of this wonderful car.:smiley_thumbs_up: Let us know how it goes.
