Just wanted to say hi and great forum! I'm looking into getting a patriot and this forum is helping out great.

I drive an 01 durango right now and its my baby, but I can't afford the gas bill. Last fill up was $79.xx. breaking the bank here and with gas expected to hit $4 a gallon i will definatly break the $100 mark each tank. it wouldn't be so bad if i didnt get 12mpg.

Dump that durango quick! I never could understand why the Durango always got horrible gas mileage.

lol, yeah the mpg hurts really bad. i only drive it on weekends and still have to fill up every other week. i really like the durango though, i got it mainly for the 7 seats; me and my girl, two other couples, and my dog

i dont understand why the mpg is so bad the v8 doesn't help. i'm gonna miss smoking dudes in their lil honda's though. but with the patriot i get to drive a stick again!

I agree dump the Durango...my brother in law has one...he has it for hauling his boat. If you are looking in our region for a Patriot on the lot,here in our corner of the country (Im in arlington,washington) blink and you will miss it. If you are lucky enough to find alot that has any, ...they are selling so very fast..The lot by me wont even have their first shipment until sometime this week! I had to drive up north to find one to test drive...put my order in 2 weeks ago to Dave Smith in Kellogg Idaho...Good Luck to you!

Hey, Town & Country Jeep in north Seattle (near the border of Shoreline) has 3 on their lot. Or at least they had three this Saturday when we stopped by to check them out. 1 Marine Blue Limited, 1 Red Limited, 1 Silver Sport - all loaded.

If you are in Oregon, the place to order is Wilson Motors! They are on top of it!

As for me, I am now putting around in my ’07 Patriot Sport in black, and I love it!
