After having planned to mount new rims and tires in the past 7 months, I finally followed through. I purchased Firestone Destination A/Ts after doing research here and on TireRack.com, purchased Cragar Soft 8 rims (4 inch offset, 5x4.5" bolt pattern), had my father in-law mount and balance all 4, then hand tightened all wheels myself. I just hate it when tire shops over-torque and cross thread nuts. In case you are wondering, it definitely is not lifted, the wheel tire combo sticks outwards up to 2" and gives it a 1.5" horizontal lift. The rubbing is only isolated to the rearward 4"x1" section of plastic liner mounted to inner fenderwell located behind front tires. I personally consider it minor as it only rubs when wheels are cranked to left and right extremes (lock to lock) and there is no metal to rubber contact or rim to metal contact. Considering the heat gun or mallet mod in fenderwell. What are your opinions?
