Thanks for the recognition Red Deer! I did not feel PunchYaNutts was a good way to address you. So when are you picking up your Patriot?

WHAT IF with a tire/rim combo like that, FDII springs, and RRO lift, you would get an insane amount of lift. you would get the 2 and quarter from the rro lift + 1 from the springs+ plus the 2 inchs u got from ur tires.

THATS AWESOME

I am not sick enough to do that just yet, but that is an excellent idea! Maybe after I get back from one of my overseas mission(s).

The Patriot will be my first vehicle. My dad is down in Calgary at Canadian Nexen. He may collect his bonus from working in Yemen since 2001.

He wanted to pick up one black 08 Sport manual transmission. And another steel blue 08 North edition auto (for me : D )

pop on some cragers eh, hahahaha. Thanks for the reply :smiley_thumbs_up:

MPG update: My second tank of gas with the new wheel/tire combo was 25.44 miles per gallon over the course of 324 miles, which is a lot better than my first tank. Still happy with my setup. Finally put center caps on today... will post pics tomorrow.

have you taken the wheels off yet and looked for rub marks on the struts? Might be a good idea.
The tires couldn't possibly rub on the struts. Maybe the spring guard, but you can see that without taking the tires off.

My guess is that with the different offset of the wheels and the shape of the tread and sidewall on the 'hot rocks', they clear just fine in that respect.

With my offset pushing my wheels 2 inches outwards, I have no contact with the struts or coil spring perch. The top of my tires sit 3/4" lower than the lowest part of the of the spring perch. :smiley_thumbs_up:
