Is this available?

Hey I've seen this picture online several times and really like the top with the rails and lights on this Patriot. Is this an available accessory or is this just like a concept or something? If you could get this put on I would definitely purchase it. Anyone have any ideas?

Intriguing photo... looks like this one has a lift too... or is just the angle?

~~update~~ found the source of the photo on the "2005 Frankfurt Motor Show: 2008 Jeep Patriot Photo Gallery" so yes these are the old prototype shots. The legendary SEMA Patriot is one sweet looking Patriot which many want (including myself) I know there are photos and several discussions on this site if you use the search feature.

That looks like the pre production photo where they introduced the Patriot for the first time.

It is. The SEMA pat had the factory rack, or what they thought would be the factory rack. They changed it later, so unfortunately, this is not available. This is the rendition they released in late 06' I think

some of the Jeep Liberty's got that rack-so maybe if you find a wrecked one you could remove it--probably be a big pain and cost prohibitive if you don't know how to re install or if you aren't the owner of a body shop.

The renegade libby has a larger rack with larger, round lights.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I would love to make my patriot look like that one in your picture. Sucks that rack isn't available and I bet if it was a lot of people would get it.

I even thought of prototyping one. I assume it would be fairly easy to make if you didn't use just plastic, maybe a light hollow coir wood, sanded down really smooth, sealed/panted, then it can click right on the existing rack, and be bolted down in the front.

bolts on body i never liked the idea but the rack does look good though oh well i got mine i want a bumper now
