Can you tell me where you live and what color your Jeep is?I keep a non-chipped key in a velcro pouch under the rear bumper; the pouch has adhesive backing that will stick to plastic or metal. That key will only open the doors. Then, I keep a spare chipped (transponder) key taped to the inside of the glove box; that one will start the car.
