Hello everyone! I’m new here and trying to find an answer to the Thuds I’ve been hearing. As a girl it’s been intimidating going to a shop without slightly knowing what is going on.
Anyways my 2016 Jeep Patriot (80k miles on it) has been making a thudding noise in the front end when I’m driving. There’s not really a pattern on when it does it. I notice it can happen at varying speeds and rpms and will disappear on freeway speed, it seems to happen more when I’m just driving around town.
It’s a “thud, thud, thud, thud” knocking noise and it seems to speed up and slow down matching the way my tires are spinning.
I've checked my tires and can’t seem to find any issues or flat spots.
Any help or tips are greatly appreciated.
