Folks looking for some assistance here. 2011 Jeep Patriot / Auto / 2.4L . After about 20-30 min of driving (highway) the rpm starts flutterering around and shooting up and coming back to it's original normal operation. There is also a loss of power like, push the throttle down and it does not react right away. When this happens we bring the Jeep to a stop and when I press on the accelerator nothing happens and then the rpm will ramp up and then slowly the truck will move. If I turn off the truck the pedal is normal and acceleration is fine for a little while and then it will start again. I took a video but not sure I can post it ....

Anyone have this happen to them ?

Sounds like you may be having transmission issues.

If the fluid and both filters haven't been changed in the last 50k miles, it's past due; try it and see if that helps.

p2015 relates to the intake manifold runner control valve.
It may need cleaned or replaced, or it could be something else.

Unfortunately that's the same sort of thing that happened to me when my CVT was starting to go in my 2010.
