I have done everything I can to track down this rough idle still no check engine light it's getting very frustrating clean the PCV valve plugs and coils new air filter changed oil now I find out my TPS sensor could be failing and I found out you can't replace those they're built in the throttle body so guess what you have to buy the whole throttle body for $250 very frustrating I told my wife if I can't figure this out I want to sell she says no

I have encountered the same issue on my 2016 Patriot. It just started happening a couple of months ago and I've been chasing it all winter. If I find a resolution I'll post it up here.

Edit: mine used to be intermittent but now it seems to happen in every stoplight.

Mine loves to dip under 700rpm while idling now and then, it doesn't seem to stumble when it does but it shakes the hood pretty good. These love to rumble even when the motor mounts are good, and I have no idea what shape mine are in. 😅

You can find 'em on Amazon for about $50, I swapped mine out, oh, half a year ago? No troubles so far, easy enough swap if you have a socket set and a screwdriver.

I looked up a video on it and it looked a little involved. Removing the TIPM, etc.

Remove the pipe (left) that runs from the airbox to the throttle body, and the battery if you need the extra room.

The throttle body is secured by some bolts and a bracket, and there's also a wire clipped to it. It's a bit of a squeeze with the coolant lines in the way but doable.

Oh I've done that. I've replaced mine five times.

I thought you were talking about the engine mounts.
