I'm trying to get my check engine light codes without using OBD2 scanner. I've turned the key on and off three times and I get dashes then it says done and that's it no codes. I've also tried pushing in the odometer button while turning the key to the on position and I get some codes that I haven't been able to figure out what they mean. One is sw v er500, another is Cam ver y43, and the other is Lin ver 429. If anyone who knows what these are or mean please let me know

Unfortunately, without a code reader you're kinda SOL. The key on/off trick doesn't display codes from every system. The other codes that you asked about are just the versions of the firmware that various systems are running, nothing that will be of use to you. If you don't have a code reader and the Jeep is driveable, head down to your local auto parts store. Most will read the codes for free.

Well I guess I should consider myself lucky. I bought a 2008 Jeep Patriot 2.4 May of 2021 and I've only had a few wear and tear issues. But I did that put on some new rotors, and a new battery .I'm about to change the passenger right side axle but it starts it runs great.
