Alright, I have been lurking on this site for a month and finally bought a brand new 2010 front wheel drive Jeep Patriot. This thing is bare bones and the only extras are AC, upgraded radio, CVT, and upgraded wheel package. With the rebate and the use of internet pricing against another dealership I got out for well under 16k. I love this thing.

Have to admit reading about the leaks and ball joint issues did have me a little gun shy, but for the price I will take my chances. Also, this site and all of the knowledgeable members helped.

Welcome! What color is your Pat?

I think you'll enjoy the CVT. Did you trade anything in to get that low price? I purchased my 2010 Pat Latitude edition for around 21K but that's before my trade in.

The color is charcoal.

I like the CVT so far.

No, I paid cash and had no trade in. The dealer did not seem to happy to hear either of those things.
