Quick update, the Newaygo camping event has been moved to late July, more specifically July 25th-26th. Turns out there's only 5 spots at the campsite too, costing $10 per night, so if any of y'all wanna head up and would prefer camping to a motel, please head to the event page and let us know. I personally have no problem not camping there if it'll be full, considering I live maybe 15 minutes away from the campground. :D

Just another little update:

Jeep Night at O'Reilly's auto parts in Jenison, Sept. 11th, 6pm as I recall.

Day trip to Rocks & Valleys off-road park in Harrison(near Gladwin), Sept. 19th.

Extreme ORV expo, Ionia, Oct. 9th-11th.

Jeep Patriot Around The World(facebook group) midwesterners meet, Oct. 10th, northern Illinois.

JPATW meet in Springfield, Ohio, Oct. 17th. I went to college about 12 miles south of Springfield at Cedarville, so I'm familiar with the area and will be trying to make it there. https://www.facebook.com/events/141291676212622/

Jeep Creep, Gladwin, don't forget to register beforehand. Info at http://riverwalkplace.net/jeep.html and https://www.facebook.com/events/1562250314024022/ I checked earlier today, there's still two rooms available for that weekend at the nearby(3 miles or so from event) White Star Motel, 989-426-8940.

Sad to say, I don't think I'll be at Jeep Creep. Kinda tearing myself up too, I've been looking forward to it since the last one ended. No biggie though, it'll mean an extra parking space and open motel room for somebody who wouldn't be able to get one before.

It's that time of year again, folks. https://www.riverwalkplace.net/event/jeep-creep/ If you wanna register, let 'em know you'll be coming with the "Michigan Jeepers" group and they'll try to get us all together. Some of us are planning on camping at Secord Lake a few miles away, should be decent accomodations there. With the camping also, let 'em know you'll be there with Michigan Jeepers and they'll group our campsite assignments together.

Jeep the Mac and Blessing of the Jeeps are barely two months away. Anybody interested?

If I can get my jeep fixed. It was making a horible noise and had a bucking start and stop. Took it to the dealer and was told it was the PTU $2700 and the cvt might be bad, for both $7200. On a 2011 Patriot with 112k miles.

Ouch. Used CVT can possibly be had for cheap if you can find a matching one at a local junkyard. My build thread might be some help in that area, but it's been awhile since even I looked there.

https://www.visitdrummondisland.com/jeep-the-mac.html Jeep the Mac schedule, and...

https://visitorsbureau.regfox.com/jeep-the-mac-2019 registration link if you think you can make it. Rcguymike and myself each already have lodging booked on Drummond Island, and some members of my Jeep group will be staying in St. Ignace but still wheeling at Drummond.

Also Cadillac Jeepers | Jeep Blessing just pay at the gate for that one. Not exactly sure what anybody's plans are for it though, probably just a day trip for most, as alot of them got fed up with the nearby Twisted Trails' camping policies, and Jeep the Mac has been getting more and more popular.

Looks like Jeep Creep is canceled this year, for the second time in a row. A meetup in the Great Lakes State could still be fun though, later this summer if anybody is up for it. Downside for me is, it would have to be in the middle of the week sometime most likely, as my normal schedule at work has me home only in the middle of every other week. And coming off a couple months of workman's comp soon, not only is work gonna want me to work, I'm gonna want me to work, haha.
