Here is the factory grommet after cutting off the 90 and reaming it out to install the 3/8" i.d. tubing. The long side of the tubing was inserted through the firewall from the engine side and the tapered side of grommet pushed into the firewall from outside also.

The 3/8" i.d. fit firmly onto the sunroof fitting with no clamps.

I cannot imagine this ever clogging again and if it does there should be no problem blowing it out with compressed air.

My 2008 Pat. North JUST started leaking in above the front dome light. It's not heavy rain. We're just having an ugly thaw here ini Montreal. I've had my Pat four years now and this is the first. I applied about half a tube of silicone gel where I thought the rain water may have come in. I went down this morning water had still found it's way in. I applied more silicone window sealer further along the window gutter? Will check again in the morning. I just hung a plastic bag from the mirror under where the water is dripping out of the dome light. I'm glad I put a half a roll of paper towel on top of the dash over the radio. Yeah, when I went down this morning the paper towel roll was saturated.

IDK if you have a sunroof or not, but if so sometimes running weed wacker line down it will unclog it.

There's also a seam in the roof ditch that can leak.

Thanks for answering.
No, I don't have a sunroof. Good thing I guess. I'll try the uncloging idea as well. Maybe running some some heavy dental floss would work.
I was just down to my Pat. and the bag had some accumulation at the bottom, which I emptied.

Check the roof ditch seals and the seal around the windshield.
