update! The ladder came in a day early and it’s actually great. Easy set up and install. Smaller than I imagined but the trunk hatch isn’t that big when you think about it anyway. It fits great and looks great as well 🤙🏼 If you have any doubts about the ebuy site, that’s not unwarranted as it does look sketchy but they delivered and I’m happy with the product!
I'm wondering if you're still satisfied with it after a year? How's it going?

Yep still running smooth. I sprayed with clear coat anti rust just in case it starts to rust. I did notice some end points- where the ladder step meets the post-has poor welding. Otherwise, still no issue with the ladder a year later in new york weather.

Okay maybe I am just a bit dense but what is the difference between the freelancer and the guides version of this ladder?
Never heard of the free lancer version? But this one I am not sure I was searching google and found Ebuy7 selling it. Was skeptical as it was coming from China but so far a year in and no complaints. However, I should mention that I sprayed the whole ladder with clear coat spray for anti-rust measures. Some of the welding done on the ladder is poor but so far no issues with the ladder breaking or collapsing.

Man I would love to have this, but the site looks sketchy. Probably would have to wait for a legitimate website to start selling them
I’ve bought it from this site last week. I just got an update and tracking number saying it’s in transit. So I guess I’ll be the one to find out it’s legitness. Cost me 300$ To get it to Florida.

i actually went ahead and bought it 2 years ago. It is holding pretty wellI and coated it with anti rust spray paint just for extra coverage.
What I am noticing is where it’s attached at the bottom of my trunk it’s chipping the paint off and causing premature rust.

tried to order this at the weekend, selected DHL delivery ($33) to the UK ...only to be emailed today that they required another $117 due to item being 'overweight'

not prepared to pay more for shipping than the actual item worth, so asked what cheaper options are available- & got rather confusing reply of:

"because it is with " JEEP " brand name, Post is not available to ship out, just can be shipped by Fedex, DHL, TNT,... ... and Fedex is the cheapest shipping cost." ...Fedex is about same cost of $150

no idea why it cant be shipped by boat- so cancelled & now trying to sort out with paypal the refund (as it's sat in 'pending' status so cant go through resolution centre)
