Jeep Patriot Fog Light LED Replacements! Several Model Options! Plug & Play Install!

Jeep Patriot Fog Light LED Bulbs

Diode Dynamics offers LED bulbs for replacement of your Jeep Patriot's fog lights, in all major sizes. They are available in HP, XP, and SLF styles. This will make your Patriot's fog lights a nice bright white that closely matches factory HIDs! Just simple plug and play, replace the bulb and you are good to go!

Diode Dynamics offers the brightest, highest-quality bulbs on the market. Your order will ship same day, and we're here if you need us for support and service. And we do not raise prices to astronomical levels- We're breaking that market trend, and offering you great, low prices, every day. These LED bulbs are designed by us here in St. Louis, and every bulb carries with it a three-year limited warranty.

Brightness:

Diode Dynamics offers several brightness options so you can choose what fits you best. These options are listed by the design and the lumen output of each bulb, compared to the factory bulb.

HP48: 265 lumens. Lower brightness than factory, but still provides the crisp white, modern color of LEDs.

XP80: 510 lumens. Similar brightness to factory.

SLF: Street-Legal Output Much brighter than factory. These are bright! Made in USA!

Bulb Design

HP48: This bulb is designed with 48 Epistar 3014 LED chips. Thanks to the cap on the top, the light from this High Power Bulb is shined backwards and away from the bulb, not straight out. This means the output is excellent, because it uses the vehicle's housing completely, which then shines the light much more uniformly.

XP80: Each of the four sides of this bulb contains three 5W-rated chips, and the top is fitted with four more, under a projector lens. This is the brightest self-contained automotive LED bulb on the market, and is housed in an aluminum casing with a textured finish for maximum heatsinking properties.

These bulbs are made up of a quality plastic connector to slide right into the plug, as well as high durability terminals. A load resistor is embedded to prevent blowing the LEDs from voltage surge, and a diode is implanted to protect the LEDs from reverse polarity. The LED is wired for 12V operation, the kind found on all modern vehicles.

Included in your order is TWO BULBS (to fit your Jeep Patriot).

Diode Dynamics products come with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee and a 3-year limited warranty.

I just had a fog light burn out at 51,000 miles so I'm ready for an LED upgrade to the XML2. Just not sure if I want the 5000k pure white or the 4300k natural white. The oem bulbs didn't look bad so I might be leaning towards the 4300k natural.

I just can't stand the 2700-3000k yellowish bulbs.

How likely am I to be flashed by other drivers while running these? I'm not sure yet if the Fog lights can be adjusted at all. I look forward to trying this product!

The XML2's create 1,420 lumens which is a nice increase over your factory bulbs, but they do a fairly good job utilizing the factory housings and providing a similar output pattern.

The natural white will match a 4300K OEM HID, but I personally like the 5000K Pure White.

Feel free to send us an email if you have more questions: [email protected]

You won't be putting other drivers at risk using the XML2's

Thanks,
Nick C.

That is great news! It looks like such a nicely engineered product I'm sure it will be perfect. Now I just have to decide between the 4300k and 5000k. Thank you for sharing your personal preference! I will likely order this week. :D

XML2's are totally worth it. Amazing brightness, yet I haven't been flashed by other drivers! Great balance of both safety and performance.

I have the 5000k pure white and would recommend that or the 4300k natural white. I'll get some good photos of mine soon.

Any eta on the xml2's?
We have them available for all Patriot model years

However, the 4300K/5000K options aren't available for the 2010-2014 Models yet. Those are expected in March

Our XML2 LED produces 1,420 lumens (measured), which is a significant increase over the factory halogen lighting.

LEDs still aren't quite ready for low-beam use, but they are perfect for auxiliary applications

Hard to tell, is the difference between the 5000k and 6000k that the 5000k is pure white and the 6000k has a tinge of blue to it?

5000K is definitely pure white whereas 6000K has a very slight tinge of color to it

They've been measured extensively so the color temperatures are spot-on

The 5000K has no color to it whatsoever:

It's pure white (no yellow at all)
