I have a 2015 Patriot High Altitude and I’m currently installing a sound system in it. My buddy installed a new 300 amp alternator for me and we beefed up all the wiring. My problem is since the install of the alt, my voltage fluctuates constantly and my battery light is on. I also installed a new battery along with the new OFC wiring. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated thanks

Sorry for late response, were you able to resolve this?
Sounds to me like either the alternator is incompatible / not working, or wiring / connection related.
Along with checking those things, I'd grab a scanner and see if there's any codes present.
