Hello,
I managed to get that rubber boot/cover and the white plastic housing and connector out of the door jam but now that I want to install it, it seems as if it is not as secure as it was prior to me fooling with it. Is there a way to get this thing snapped back in so it doesnt pull away from the steel with a light touch?

A couple questions: Are the holding clips on the plastic broken? Are you sure you are pushing it in far enough to engage the clips?
