What did the AR set you back, if you don't mind my asking?

I got it for $520 out the door, BUT they raised the price on it right after I bought it, Looks like this exact model is going for $580-650 now at other places... IF you can find it in stock:

Looks like two of your guns with holsters are 1911s and 3 of your .22's are easily recognizable Ruger designs as best I can tell. Also, a .22 1911? I knew they existed, but didn't think any proper American would be crazy enough to buy one, haha. Gotta give you some friendly flak for not going .45 ACP on any 1911 there, buddy.

Who said I don't have a 1911 in .45?

The .22 is just cheaper to shoot.
Looks a case for OCD...
not sure what you mean?

Did you get storeable food ?
Obviously. these pictures were over a week old when I posted, ordered the AR well over a month before I got it. It just took a while to show up. I'm mormon, we keep a years supply as standard issue.

Oh, I know you have at least one 1911 in the only acceptable caliber. I'm just giving you friendly flak for not getting ANY 1911 you purchase in that same caliber, haha.

Ya getting ready for a war ??
Nope, I just like them. That's why I have a lot of .22's, Just fun to go out and plink steel targets. I'm pretty good. I've done some competition shooting as well. I also have 4 kids, and I like to take friends and family out shooting too. it sucks having to wait, so I have enough everybody can be shooting at once.

I've got barrels in both 9mm and .40. I've also got a heavily modified Russian SKS. View attachment 91438
Very nice. I really really want a Dan Wesson specialist in 9mm. But spending that much for a gun is a big pill to swallow. I bought a BUNCH of crypto the last couple of weeks while it was super low, if it goes back to where it was a month ago, I'll be sitting pretty, an will probably sell some off to buy one.

Yeah, that specialist is nice, but $1600+ for a 9mm seems a bit much.

Oh it is. But it's cheap for a semi custom 1911. I won't buy it. I will probably buy a Ruger instead. a colt isn't much cheaper than a Dan Wesson. or maybe I'll get a polymer 9mm, something I can daily, like a walther

I went the practical route with most of my purchases too (raising kids, ya know) but I did end up with one pistol that cost around $1200. :)

Oh, I would only do it if bitcoin gets over where it was at the beginning of march (and some of the alts I follow go with it) I bought a BUNCH right after it crashed, and will basically double my money. (I also put a bunch into my investments.) and at that point it's my "play" money, so I can justify the purchase. My dream dream gun is a Dan Wesson Kodiak Tri color:

But at over $2000 I could buy a lot of other guns, It is also huge with a 6" barrel, and it is 10mm, which is an expensive round to shoot. It would go in a case on my wall and probably never be shot, or if it is, only a few times a year at best.
