Hi there so I’ve been having a coolant problem for a while and I’ll say this right now, I still haven’t brought it to a shop.

1. the coolant sprays at the radiator cap and onto the engine (replaced it and I’m still having an issue)
1. the coolant sprays at the radiator cap and onto the engine (replaced it and I’m still having an issue)
2. I’ll fill the coolant up and somehow over time it will still leak.
3. I haven’t looked underneath to see where it’s leaking because I honestly think it’s just that radiator cap or that general area.
4. what potential parts would need to be replaced? It’s a 2012

Have you checked for cracks around the neck where the cap screws on?

Is it overheating?

Is there any milky goo on the inside of the oil filler cap?

Any bubbles in the coolant?

Exhaust smells like coolant or white-ish smoke?

Also if you have one of those IR thermometers check the radiator after you warm up the engine and then turn it off. Measure the temps across the radiator. If the edges are super hot, and the center is ambient you may have a clogged radiator.
