I'm getting old, which means I am allowed free pass to do eccentric things of poor taste. And.....only my opinion matters, not that my wife of 44 years believes me,LOL.

My painted 16 inch steel wheel(s) have the silver paint flaking off. What's everyone's opinion of the plastic chrome wheel covers. Start bad and go worse? Are they totally faux pas and of poor taste? I have no interest in black and am not sure I want to paint all 4 wheels correctly (clean, prep, prep, prep, spray paint).

What say ye?? Stolen pictures off the web: THANKS!!!

I like the chrome, I say go for it. They look good and it's a heck of a lot less work than painting. My '14 FD2 has plastic chrome covers over the factory aluminum wheels... however, they're going to be coming off soon since the last time I had a tire rotation the shop cracked one and now it rattles while driving.
