Hi - I'm looking at the parts manual for a Patriot CRD and it looks like the front rotors should just pull off once the caliper has been removed - is this correct - or is it a bit more involved ?

Best regards

They should just come right off unless something is different on the diesel Patriots. The only thing you might have to remove first are a washer like clip that slips onto the wheel studs that is used during assembly of the vehicle to hold the rotor in place, most likely only a couple per rotor and you can pull them off with pliers or as i do, spin them off like you do the lug nuts but use a screw driver to get them loose and then you can reuse them if you like.

Pretty much correct. There is also going to be the caliper and pad mounting bracket that need to come off as well.

Thanks

thanks guys, that's great info. This job sounds painless in comparison to other cars I've owned, so actually looking forward to the job!

Best regards
