I was surprised to find out that the u.s. wheels crome center caps got some rust point after using them a couple of months during winter time.

I took them out and polished them in order to make them look almost new.

I think the rust point are from two factors. The salt on the street and some little rocks that had hit the centercaps during riding.

For polish you will need.
1. centercaps;
2. scratch remover (polish) in a small quantity
3. small piece of cloth
4. electric screwdriver with polishing head.

Steps:

1. put some polish paste on the object and cover it all using the piece of cloth.
2. wait a couple o secs for the polish to dry.
3. start removing the paste using the electric screwdriver making circular moves untill the rust points disappears.
4. clean the object with a clean piece of cloth untill you see a nice shine.

final pics

I can add onlz five pics at a time, so the last two are here.

First is a picture taken in the middle of the polishing process.
The second is the picture with the finished work.

The entire process will last maximum 30min

Good luck!
