Hi there. I have a 2015 5-speed Patriot with just under 25,000 miles. It is in the shop again for a 2nd clutch. Both dealerships in town state it is a wear-and-tear item that is not covered under warranty. I get that... except we know how to drive stick shift are not causing damage to the clutch plates. Interestingly, the dealership has informed me there is issues with ball bearings in the transmission that has to be corrected and an entirely new transmission will be installed under the extended warranty which I pay for. I had this same vehicle in the shop 4-5 times this past summer for strange knocking noises under the vehicle and the final solution was installing missing bolts which hold the undercarriage to the vehicle.
Anyone else having issues with the clutch and/or transmission. Having paid $1700 26 months ago and getting ready to pay another $1600 (they are helping me out) this time is getting ridiculous.
