2011 Patriot 2.4 serpentine belt issues

120k belt broke. Replaced alternator and belt. Came off in ,2-3 k miles. Replaced all pulleys and belt. Came off again in 1k. Replaced alternator again and belt (3rd belt). Mechanic changed this alternator and belt. Less than 50 miles, came off again. Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi, welcome to the forums.

Has the tensioner assembly ever been replaced? If it's weak it may not be supplying enough force to keep the belt tight, allowing it to slip and come off.

Same type problem , here, tensioner seems tight, at least it's hard to get the belt on. How smooth should the wheels spin? They don't seem to vibrate but don't spin for a long time either when I do it by hand.
