Hey I just got back from the 2009 Jeep Jamboree in Crandon Wisconsin and it was a blast.
epper: Lots of jeeps from stock to fully tricked out there however only ONE Patriot.
The wife and I arrived thursday aftrenoon to the Jamboree headquarters at Mole Lake Casino and I already knew I was in Jeep paradise! (tons of Jeeps). We went and had to get Tech inspected before selecting trails to make sure we had all the required equipment (skid plates, tow points, tow strap, first aid kit, no fluid leaks, Battery tied down) to be allowed out. They are very saftey consious.
When they got to us both tech inspectors were to say at least surprised at seeing a Patriot but thought it was pretty cool and OK'd us up to moderate trails. They never saw a lifted Pat let alone one with rock sliders also. We signed up for the easy trails not knowing what to expect and for that matter neither did the trail guides. They hadn't seen or heard of anyone taking a Patriot to a Jamboree before.
We had a trail class the first half of Friday and the wife even played some on the obsticales they set up (she's hooked now). We decided this was a good thing to start at because it also gave the trail guides a first hand look at what the little Patriot could do. They were very impressed by the Patriots ability. Here's a few pics of the class we had in the morning the first day.
