i was wondering if one tire should wear faster than the others on the jeep patriot 4x4. the guy at a tire shop said the front driver side tire usually wears quickest. thoughts?

If I go from the 215/60/R17 Firestone Affinity to the 225/65/R17 Firestone Destination LE2 will I notice much difference on/off-road? Also aside from the speedometer retuning which I may not get done because I can adjust to it, what else will I need to do? Thanks for the help
